The Cost of Chamonix Geneva Airport Transfers Continues to Be Reduced

Getting from Geneva airport to your skiing domain is so simple.

These days there are a plethora of airport transfer companies based from the airport in Geneva, this has meant the cost of airport transfers going down by an significant amount.

It is no longer the case that there were just a few taxi operators to take.

Nowadays the vacationer has a crop of options, with most ski transfer companies owning a fleet of shiny buses.

Moreover if you are snowboarding in the Chamonix valley then a ski transfer can take just one hour, and set you back 25 Euros.

The short distance of the transfer, and the reduced prices of transfers from Geneva to Chamonix, has meant that weekend ski breaks have become ever more popular as vacationers opt to take less time off work, but still wish to enjoy their skiing holidays.

This is set to continue as skiers are still keen to go on a ski vacation, but aren’t keen to have a whole week off work owing to the downturn.

Another benefit of the lower taxi costs is that the cost of skiing breaks carries on dropping.

Skiing rental is definitely cheaper than we are used to, particularly if you take the option to book on line before heading out snowboarding.

Whilst the lowered value of the pound versus the euro means things are costlier in the town, if you’re going on a catered ski chalet then virtually all of your break is already paid for in pounds prior to your arrival.
