Hayling Island

Hayling Island is a quiet Island thats joined with the mainland merely by a Bridge in the county of Hampshire.

This pretty Island is home to 16,900 people who enjoy the miles of coastline lining against the Solent. The traditional Seaside smell is a faultless back drop for sailing, Swimming, Kite Surfing and wind surfing.

Boasting two churches St Peters built in 1140 and St Marys which dates back to the 13th Century. Or possibly the engrossing treasures on presentation at the Royal Marines Museum won’t fail to impress, with their displays of Landing Craft, Uniforms, Silver and Manuscripts dating back centuries. Or be carried back in time with a call in to Southsea Castle built on the say so of Henry 8th, now home to a fascinating Museum and to the fabulous Over Lord Tapestry which commemorates D Day
