Learn How to Hypnotize - Take Our Conversational Hypnosis Course

It’s still at the forefront of a lot of controversy although, nonetheless, there’s no shortage of practitioners active today who recognize the potential of conversational hypnosis. It’s inaccurate to mistake hypnotic suggestion for “mind control” - because indeed the common saying concerning mind over matter is still relevant - you can convey messages easily and alleviate, maybe even treat, physical, emotional not to mention mental complaints through the subconscious. You can add the struggle to beat anxiety attacks or addiction to cigarettes to any imagined frat-party comic high-jinks. We do accept that this might worry you, but savvy practitioners have it down to a science and create effectively no issues.

Let us turn to underground hypnosis, alongside comparable forms of black ops hypnosis, and examine the desired end; induction into trance. You can usually make the trance state so deep. The depth to which the subject enters trance is governed by elements of their emotional status and personality. At the first level, their smaller muscle systems will slacken following an unconscious compulsion. They feel as if they’d like to go to sleep. Some feel like their eyelids are becoming heavy. Gradually other muscles unwind, especially the shoulders and hands - and in most cases, this takes very little time.

You can lead subjects down to trances so deep that the only sensory input they receive is that coming from the hypnotist. From this point on, the subject will react to compulsion by hypnotic suggestion. At greater depths you’ll find you can prevent recollection in specific areas - or to block physical feeling.

You may, it’s worth noting, carry your subject into an even more intense trance, bit by bit introducing them to a hallucinatory level before reaching a level like that which the mind enters during general anesthetic. People might go through certain medical procedures while so deep without no need for anesthesia. You won’t learn ways you can reach that depth using Underground Hypnosis, though, naturally, you’d almost never require it. Simply to to nudge the subject in your preferred direction, you just need to have them achieve one of the simpler phases of a trance state.

There are no barriers to the Underground Hypnosis crew - you’ll be welcomed. Through spending a little while learning and a little more time practicing the things you’ve learned, you’ll swiftly develop into quite an accomplished hypnotist - with all that entails. So why worry? Step up and learn.

It’s All in the Head

It is All In the Psyche

How you experience, your state of mind and your mood is at any given moment a result of chemic and biologic operations in your psyche. Psychological Science is the science of the emotional mind but is intimately related to brain surgery and medical science. “Love at first sight” is set as a condition in which somebody experiences tender passion for a alien straight off upon seeing them. Brain imaging indicates that when this happens regions of the brain affected with Dopastat, a hormone and neurotransmitter are activated. The opposite is the case with depressive disorder and anxiousness where the status of neurotransmitters is low. Cipralex acts to increase the neurotransmitter 5-hydroxytryptamine.

Cognitive psychological science is a manner to force the brain to develop more Serotonin by coaching individuals to reckon positive, to see ahead to the best rather than ever revere the hardest. Cognitive behavioural handling do have an effect on social media, mood and minor clinical depressions. Studies even suggests that it may be achievable to school individuals to alter the way in which the pain centers of the brain process tough stimuli, making the perceptual experience of hurt less strong. Hypnotherapy is another possibility as one well recognized guest tells: “I?m slenderly understanding as he assures me to lie back and close my eyes, keen not to wake up nickering like a sheep, or darker still: unable ever to relish food or swallow coffee again. ?SEO? he assures me, his voice centered ‘tween a seductive grumble and a gentle imperative”.

Comforting a person who has experienced the loss of a loved one is very hard. However, words of sympathy along with a consoling sympathy gift can soothe and support the grieving family. Sympathy gifts are a perfect way to communicate to the grieving family about your care and support, and desire to offer comfort and remembrance.

Some of the popular sympathy gifts include flowers, remembrance ornaments or garden stones personalized with a message. However, to show your utmost care for the grieving family, it is best to give personalized gifts chosen from your heart. Some of the elegant and comforting gifts one can present are personalized angel paintings, inspirational music CDs, books of poems or poems written by you, a photo album or scrapbook of good times, a gift basket personalized to the family, or a journal for memories.

However, one should also remember that gifts are just means to show your emotions, it is important as well to express your care for the grieving people by being with the family in their time of need and by comforting them with reassuring words. Sometimes, it is these small gestures in life that become more lasting than tangible gifts.

Along with the words of comfort one, can also present a custom-designed and meaningful collection of sympathy, bereavement and condolence gifts. These gifts can range from sympathy cards, memorial garden stepping-stones, pet gifts and memorials, personalized key chains or tree seedlings. One can also send food baskets to cheer up the mood in the house.

Selecting a sympathy gift is really a tough decision, especially when such gifts are given to convey your emotions. Therefore, it is important that you should choose a gift, which should convey your thoughts and emotions easily to the recipient.

Healing Depression with Music

It was aptly said that music is the medicine for broken hearts. No matter how practical and analytical you are, music will touch your heart removing all the obstacles of logic. Have you ever felt how a certain track reminds you of a particular incident, or a special someone? Have you ever asked yourself why Careless Whisper makes you cry? Summer of 69 reminds you of your school days? Yes, music is much more powerful than we can imagine. Music can make us laugh and cry and remind us of our past, can make a moment special with its magical touch, even a certain melody can take us to a flashback tour. There are songs which remain very close to our hearts through out our lives, is not it?

No wonder music will be able to elevate your spirit while you are feeling blue, no matter how bad you feel. You can actually get over stress, depression and anxiety with the help of music. Could you ever imagine that music can heal a number of physical and mental problems? There are specific illnesses and conditions, like stress, chronic pain, insomnia, addictions, smoking, cardiovascular illnesses, post-traumatic-stress syndrome, panic disorder/anxiety, overweight, anorexia, bulimia, depression, low self-esteem, stress, creative or emotional blocks, anger, fear, sadness, hyperactivity, attention deficit disorder, inner child processing (adults), stress and insomnia for the pregnant woman, anxiety and pain during birth, colic and anxiety in the newborn infant, breastfeeding, emotional armor, conflicts, infertility, cancer, anger, AIDS, infection, fear, lack of self-respect, immune system suppression, scleroderma, frustration, individual transformational music, self-reflection, heightened awareness, relaxation, and inspiration. Today let me tell you how you can get over depression with the help of music;

Step 1: You need to select appropriate music for you, depending upon how you are feeling right now. If you are feeling really low, you might think that a peppy music will help you to change your mood. But the notion is wrong; it might make you feel irritated. So you need to choose a song to match your mood. You, at first, need to prepare a proper sequence so that the music can help you. You can create your own music track and save it for future use. When you are depressed, choose the song which will take you to the deepest depression and play it at first. Then the next song should be of mild depression followed by a neutral composition. Then end it with a composition which is really uplifting and motivating. This is the proper sequence of a music therapy to heal depression. You can increase the number of compositions depending on your availability of time and your personal requirement.

Step 2: You should not listen to music with your head phone; rather you should use speakers so that every cell of your body can intake the rhythm and vibration of the music and let the whole atmosphere in the room fill with music.

Step 3: Women, let your hair down, loosen your tight outfit; settle yourself down in a way that most relaxing. Men, loosen your tie knot, lie down and relax, take deep breath while you relax.

Step 4: Now close your eyes and just listen to the music compositions and let your heart, mind and soul go with it. Just release yourself from the logical bindings, set your mind free. If you feel like crying, just do it! There is nothing wrong in it, you cannot imagine how venting-out bitter and harmful emotions like anger, pain, frustration, hopelessness can heal inner wounds. So cry your heart out, I bet you will feel as if a 20 pound weight has been removed from your heart.

Step 5: You need to pre-plan your time so that you do not get interrupted till the end of this session. Make sure that you are not involved in any type of activities during the session to avoid disturbance. This will help you to receive optimum response to the transformation process.

Step 6: While you listen to the music, allow it to reach your inner self just like Enrique sings “All I need is the rhythm divine, lost in the music your heart will be mine…can you feel the rhythm!”…respond freely to it. The way of response can be different to everyone, you may experience the glimpses from the past, or visual images, thoughts, intensified emotions, sleep, physical vibration (you may feel like dancing) etc. Set yourself free and do whatever you feel like, do not restrict any emotion.

Step 7: When the music stops, do not get up and get back to your routine. Sit and enjoy the silence and give yourself time to get back from the world of rhythm.

Step 8: If you can keep a record of your daily report of your mental condition before and after the music session, to measure the improvement. Keeping record is helpful but not very important.

You will sense the difference yourself, I need not tell you how you ate going to feel after passing an hour with music. Let me tell you that a plant’s growth increases if music is played near it, even a dying sapling can be revived my music. Music is the spring of unending positive vibration and power which can comfort any ailing living being, physically or mentally. There is a very strong relationship between body and mind which we can not just deny because science has not been able to analyze it properly till now. Music heal mind and mind heals body, this is the mantra of music. Try the musical tips to heal your depression and let me know how you felt after that!

Use That Anger!

We hear a lot about anger management, and there have even been movies about it.

But I’m not convinced anger is always something to be defused.

For instance, I remember that time when I was 11, on the Little League All-Stars, and riding the bench until the final moments of the final game. Only then, did my pasty coach put me in, with two outs and my friend, Alex, standing on first.

Initially, I refused to leave the dugout; I was that peeved I was passed over as a player until that time.

Then, I decided to take my anger out on the ball. A wild child, I strode to the plate.

On the third pitch, I ripped into it.

It was “a rope,” a line drive to the wall. It got there in about half a second of flight. A few inches higher, and it would have been a home run.

Breathless but vindicated, I had a pinch-hit, stand-up double, knocking Alex in, and that ignited a rally, that just fell short of tying the game.

The following year, I led the league in hitting and just missed being the home-run king as well. In fact, according to the President, I set a national record or two.

The same coach led the All-Star team.

He saw the light.

I started every game.

Ok, I’m Angry! Now What?

“What are you looking at?” “What?” Furrowed brow followed by an uncontrolled bellow of expletives or worse! Flying debris, maybe, slamming doors. Have you ever found yourself in the midst of a potentially dangerous situation? Have you ever been on the receiving end of a flying ashtray? Or have YOU been violent or violently angry?

Anger has been increasing in recent years and violent behavior has been on the rise. This past year, my home city experienced a record number of murders and people are asking “Why?” Good question but not one with an easy answer.

Anger begins as an individual attitude or feeling and it is compounded when a similar attitude or feeling crosses its path. Anger needs to be dealt with on an individual basis. The way to combat a rise in anger and a rise in violence is to deal with individuals one at a time. Clergy, parents, teachers, counselors and psychologists need to begin teaching a combination of things from a change in attitude to a change in diet and exercise. It is all so very complicated but each group has a function and each group has a responsibility to society to teach and learn.

What I want to concentrate on is the exercise and attitude adjustment. As a parent of a self professed angry 17 year old, I want to share with you what I believe is my responsibility to my daughter and society at the same time.

The 3 most important things, in my opinion when dealing with anger in your teenager is:

1. Getting enough sleep

Staying up late and not getting sufficient rest is not “cute” or “just a phase” it is a serious issue and for a teen it can be the beginning of trouble. Especially when society is teaching them that caffeine(like these new “energy drinks”) can help you get through the day. No wonder kids start using methamphetamines and other uppers in their teens. Find a way for your teen to sleep normally. Night sleeping (at least 8 hours) and day school is still the best way to go. But with all of the tv shows and computer chats and video games, it is almost impossible to get your teens to sleep regularly.

2. Getting enough to eat

Now I’m not talking about snacks or macaroni and cheese. I’m talking about vegetables and fruit and helping them to control the intake of caffeine and sugar late in the day.

3. Getting enough exercise

It is vitally important in this day and age to have your teens moving so that at bedtime they are physically tired. I know the later it gets the more wired my daughter gets. I never see her go to bed anymore. I have to get up for work at 4:30 am and my daughter is sometimes just going to bed when I get up. And that’s on a school day!

Now these things won’t happen overnight, especially when you haven’t enforced them from the beginning. However it needs to be done and in the coming issues I will share with you what my daughter and I do to handle this problem. This is not an exact science but a learning and growing for both of us. You see, even though I’ve been a teen before and she hasn’t, I’ve never been the father of a teen. So in a way we are both learning together for the first time. I know we both love each other so we will begin with that and move forward.

Antidepressants: Know Your Side Effects

Drugs to raise brain levels of serotonin are far more effective in treating depression than just psychotherapy and talking, because depression is associated with low brain levels of the neurotransmitter serotonin.

Depression is a condition lasting at least two weeks in which sadness prevents people from functioning up to their capacity. They lose enjoyment and interest in usual activities, are sad and cannot express warm emotions towards other people, sleep all the time or barely at all, are exhausted, lose their ability to concentrate or think clearly, have feelings of worthlessness or inappropriate guilt, feel that life is hopeless, and they eat less or more than usual. Insomnia in young men is associated with a marked increased risk for depression that persists for at least 30 years afterwards.

Doctors treat depression with antidepressants, and the most used and effective antidepressants are Prozac, Paxil and Zoloft. They raise brain levels of a specific chemical called serotonin that helps to make people feel good. A once a week dose of Prozac can often control depression, but high brain levels of serotonin often reduce sexual desire.

On the other hand, Wellbrutin does not raise brain levels of serotonin significantly, does not reduce sexual desire and may even increase desire. Patients who need to stay on the serotonin-uptake-inhibitor antidepressants, but want to maintain interest in making love can take the shorter-acting Paxil or Zoloft safely four days a week from Monday to Thursday and not take them from Friday to Sunday. Taking Prozac intermittently does not prevent loss of libido because it is a long-acting antidepressant.

When a single drug fails to alleviate depression, two or more drugs taken together are far more effective than larger doses of a single drug. Buproprion (brand name Wellbruton) combined with Prozac, Paxil or Zoloft, appears to relieve depression more effectively than the single drugs. However, patients on the combination regimen still have a high incidence of decreased sexual desire, insomnia, tiredness and tremor.

Antidepressants that raise brain serotonin levels are used for other effects. Sibutramine is used to suppress hunger and treat overweight. They may be the drugs of choice to treat premenstrual syndrome or attention deficit disorder. They can be given safely to people with heart disease. Check with your doctor.

Postpartum Depression - Coping with the Baby Blues

Postpartum depression, or peripartum depresion occurs after a woman gives birth. Within a few hours of giving birth the amount of the two female hormones, estrogen and progesterone, return to their pre pregnancy levels. Many researchers feel that this drop in hormone levels, much like the smaller changes in hormone levels can affect a womans mood just before her menstrual cycle, is one of the causes of postpartum depression.

In some women the levels of thyroid hormones decrease as well. This decrease in these hormones can lead to symptoms of depression too. Some of these symptoms include a depressed mood, a loss of interest in daily things, problems sleeping and fatigue, irritability and weight gain.

Another factor that can lead to postpartum depression is genetics. This type of depression can be passed down from mother to daughter. There is also a correlation between postpartum depression and women who suffer from severe premenstrual syndrome.

Postpartum depsression is also known as the baby blues and one in ten new mothers suffer from this to one degree or another. In addition to the drastic changes in hormone levels, the presence of a new baby in the house is also a major factor in postpartum depression. A new baby can be a major stress on a new mom and this can factor into becoming depressed. Some of these factors include:

Having less free time then before the baby was born and an inability to control the time needed to get things done. The baby demands all the mothers attention, leaving little time for herself.

Going through labor is extremely stressful and tiring for a new mom. A new mom does not have time to regain her strength post delivery because of the demands and needs of the new baby. Just getting a good nights sleep is nearly impossible with late night feedings and diaper changes.

Many new mothers question their own ability to be a good mom. They become overwhelmed with the care the new baby needs and start to worry that they aren’t providing the care their baby needs.

For new moms, postpartum depression can occur with a feeling that they are no longer who they used to be. Their old schedule and ways of doing things have been replaced by the needs of their new baby. They can also feel like they have to do it all and try to take care of the new baby while doing all the things they used to do. This can be very overwhelming because chances are the care of the new baby will not allow them to accomplish all that they think they should.

New moms can also become disconnected from their partner and family. They find that their time is limited and they just don’t have time to spend with the rest of their family.

For most women the “baby blues” will usually go away as their hormone levels get back to normal. But for some women the depression associated with a new baby does not go away and can steadily get worse. It is very important that women who experince any kind of depression after child birth talk to their doctor right away. Most cases of postpartum depression can be dealt with with medication and some counseling.

Valentine’s Day - What Is The logic?

Today’s lovers and tomorrows foes. How much time does it take to turn love into hatred? If the love was that of love at first sight, then the hatred will also come within that much short time. Why does this happen? How does it happen that those who live for each other, become bitter foes? That is as much a mystery as the love itself. To find out why the lovers turn into foes, we must first find out how they became lovers. That is another mystery. Why should two people fall in love? Love is mysterious. find out more about it in these screensavers - 1, 2 Indeed, why should two people, who many a times share very few common things fall in love? Is it looks? The manners? The intelligence? What attracts both to each other that many a times lovers commit suicide if separated. It is said that human race is a logical race. Everything we do is governed by logic. But is there any logic in love? One man may be meeting many girls during work, while socializing, but falls in love with one after few years. The same applies to many women. What is this? How does this happen? Ask a lover about why he/she fell in love with a particular person and you will get answers that will further confuse the enquiry.

Are we logical at all? Or are we totally governed by heart and take some steps that look absolutely illogical and many times idiotic? The truth is apparent. A human being is made of so many emotions that to try and analyze the personality is practically impossible. If it was that simple, no war would have taken place.

Coming to better things in life, why talk of negatives? Why not let positive thoughts make all of us feel better? As I said earlier, we human beings call ourselves logical, but most of the times act in ways that will sound very illogical. Till we find the solution to this puzzle, let us enjoy life.

The Truth About Depression

You’ve probably seen the commercials on television talking about the “you” you used to be before depression set in. Such commercials are generally aired by drug companies promoting an anti-depressant. But what these commercials fail to tell you is depression is common, and not everyone who feels down or blue is suffering from depression. You need to know the facts about depression before you and your doctor determine you are indeed suffering from this illness.

That’s right. Depression is a real mental illness that often requires anti-depressants or therapy to relieve symptoms. You can’t fix depression by yourself, and without treatment, you’ll likely face an uphill battle you probably aren’t going to win. More than 18 million people a yearor nine and a half percent of adults in Americaare diagnosed with some sort of depressive illness such as depression.

The first thing you need to know are some of the symptoms that are common with depression. Symptoms include: feeling persistently sad or anxious, being overcome by hopelessness or pessimism, loss of interest in things you normally enjoy, having a lack of energy, feeling excessively tired, having difficulty making decisions or concentrating, insomnia, sleeping too much, excessive weight gain, excessive weight loss, irritability, restlessness and thoughts of suicide. If you’ve experienced any, most or all of these symptoms for a period of two weeks or more, you’re likely to be suffering from clinical depression.

What causes depression? In some instances, depression is genetic and is passed from generation to generation while others who suffer from depression will find there is no history of depression in their families. If you tend to have low-self esteem or you generally are pessimistic, you may be prone to depression. Many changessuch as death in the family, illness, financial difficulties and other stressorscan also be the root cause of depression.

Whatever the reason, it’s important to see a doctor to discuss treatment options. Once your doctor diagnoses depression and eliminates any other possible causes, you and he will determine the best treatment option for you. Antidepressants are often the most chosen form of therapy, and it’s important to knowno matter what antidepressant you go on, you must be sure you never just stop taking them. Simply stopping medication can have severe consequences.

If you take an anti-depressant, you may experience any of a series of side effects including dry mouth, constipation, bladder problems, dizziness, sexual problems, headache, nausea, nervousness and insomnia. If the side effects are too severe, seek your doctor’s advice.

The good news is, if you’re suffering from depression, you’re not alone. You can get help. There are people who understand and who can help you and your family learn to make things better. The key is to seek help, and before you know it you’ll be on the path to happier times.
